Afternoon eclairs

My hand

I was waiting in the train to depart from Bradford. I had just been to the Bradford Animation Festival (BAF 08). A young Asian woman leaned over from the seat behind to ask me the time. I told her. She said to me "That's a nice hand". And that was the first compliment I had ever received from a member of the public for one of my sketches. I don't know what her name was but I did thank her. She probably underestimated the impact that her passing comment had on me.

June roses in the evening

I arrived home around 7.30 p.m. and looked up as I went to go indoors. The evening sun was coming through some roses from behind. Out came the compact digital - click - uploaded - and here it is, within about 30 minutes of real time. This technology is fantastic.
