This is a highly experimental project but it seems to be working out really well. I, as Fyrm Fouroux in SLTM, talk about Harold as if I know him (the cover story is that Fyrm got to know Harold while conducting some research into Harold's life for an academic biography. As Harold's biographer, I (Fyrm) improvise fictional comments in order to link the story of Harold to the songs that I sing during my show. I have had some excellent feedback from the audiences on these instalments and I am really encouraged by this.

Having dreamed about Julia, Harold wakes up to the reality of married life with Veronica. He then goes to work at the university, where he learns about impending financial cuts and the possibility of redundancy.
Harold drives to a cliff top to read the letter about redundancy from the Vice-Chancellor of his university. He decides to buy some wine and get drunk at home. While in the supermarket he meets the dominatingly delightful Julia Rivers and ends up back at her place. A kiss has been exchanged. She is about to lead him out of the kitchen, perhaps to the bedroom?
Julia seduces Harold and they make love in her sitting room. Afterwards, Harold gets a taxi home; Veronica is in the kitchen reading the newspaper. She begins to interrogate Harold about what he has been doing. She notices the love bite on his neck and when she sees the scratches on his back she loses her temper, beats him up and kicks him out of the house. The installment concludes with Harold in the street, wandering off to the pub to meet with is friend Trevor.
Harold meets Trevor in the pub but his friend can't really take him in for the night because family are visiting. He goes to Julia's and tentatively asks if he can stay with her. Julia thinks about this and makes Harold an intriguing proposition. She will not allow him to doss down with her but offers him the chance to stay as a paying guest. Given that Harold has just been made redundant, he is not in a position to pay rent. Julia therefore offers him a roof over his head and in exchange Harold must work as Julia's domestic servant. Well, domestic servant and a bit more, perhaps.
Harold and Julia start to settle into their new relationship. Harold goes to see his old friend Anthea, the aroma therapist, and she offers him some work if he gets made redundant at the university.
